He did have a pretty good time at some of the various fair games, and I'm embarrassed to admit that my 3 yr old is better at popping balloons with a dart than I am...
Sam spent his day trying to eat everything he could find on the ground, and trying to pet all the animals Josh was afraid to touch...
The restaurant we usually go to is still open, but the folks who worked there during our rehearsal dinner have opened a new place farther up the island. We had planned on going there instead, but couldn't find the number so we couldn't make reservations. It ended up being too crowded by the time we got there, which in the end was just as well - it looked great, but definitely a bit fancier than the old place so prob not a good choice for a post-hotter-than-hell fair day Josh & Sam. Instead, we drove all the way up to Coupeville, to their old town area that looks ridiculously similar to Langley's old town area. (Seriously; Carlos kept asking if we'd been there before... it looks almost identical.) We had a pretty good dinner at a crab restaurant - where coincidentally, 2 of the prosecutors I work with were having their wedding reception. Pretty crazy, since they are a bizarre pair in the first place, and because I had no idea they were getting married... Then we took a night walk and looked at the full moon, before taking the ferry home again. All in all, a really good day.
